I am taking ds to Benedictine this week so he can visit the campus and register for classes. Normally this might be something my husband would do, because of the distance, but he has a wedding to play this weekend and can't get away.
I keep trying not to be anxious, but I'm really a mess. I've not driven more than 10 miles outside our town since we moved here last summer. Now I have to drive across Wyoming, across Nebraska, into Kansas. I thought we could do it in one day, but learned on Friday that it will take 2 days. That adds to the expense of hotels, etc, and I'm leaving a day earlier than expected, so I'm frantic about getting everything done at home, too.
And if you would, too, please pray that he gets into the right classes with professors that will be good for him. We're at the end of the line for registering, and I'm concerned about that too. This boy's been hs'd since 5th grade, and has a bit of a processing issue, so I'm worried about his academics.
Sigh. And thank you.

Put it all into the hands of Sts. Benedict and Scholastica ... and I'll add my prayers ... and cyber-hugs. Don't worry about the drive ... when we moms HAVE TO do something, God always gives us what we need!

Thank you all sooooo much. After I posted in the morning, I could really feel your prayers. By the afternoon, I was much, much calmer. I could feel the peace increasing.
And Providence stepped in, and we were able to stay with another hs'ing family (totally, TOTALLY unexpected), so expenses were reduced considerably.
It was a very easy trip, really. Ds drove the entire way, and compared to the traffic I'm accustomed to on the east coast, this was a breeze! There's just hardly anybody our here! 
Benedictine campus is very nice, and ds is hoping all will work out for him to attend.
