Just found out a dear friend's 11yo son has been in the pediatric intensive care unit for what they think is a reaction to some antibiotics. It is more than that though as he has been dealing with some kind of illness/infection since June 1st. They are still trying to figure out just *what* is going on.

Sorry to be low on the details - please just pray for this little boy and his family. (and the doctors!) Thanks!

Thanks for bumping this back up - it reminded me I needed to update.

It's a great update! Thanks be to God he is home and recovered. Actually, he's not home, he's on vacation now with his family.    It was extremely serious at one point, but once in the PICU they were able to give him the right medications, etc to help him. He was released a few days later. I still don't think they know exactly what caused everything to get so desperate.
