Just a little over a week ago my nephew (22yrs old) was in ICU from a fall. Today he was discharged from the hospital! Thank you all for your prayers for Ben. He will be going to an outpatient physical rehab program starting on Friday.
My mom returned home from the hospital today as well (had gone in Mon. night for her 3rd time in about 2 wks for heart issues). She had many of her meds changed. The drs. noted that her thyroid meds. had been too low (she had it removed 3 yrs ago) which may have contributed to her depression and fatigue. She's now on a new anti-arythmia medication for her heart and it has much fewer side effects than the one she was on. She has also admitted that she would like to go talk to someone (counselor)to help her deal with all the change and anxiety she's been dealing with. This is a big answer to a prayer as well. Thank you all for your prayers for my family. We have felt them!

Thank you all! My mom went back to the ER once more and was released after a couple of days. She has since been to an electro cardiologist who put her on some new meds again. THis time it really was an improvement. Apparently, the meds she was on before were way too strong and left her pretty lethargic. I think she's on a much better path now. She seems to be her old self again (not stressed and scared). Thank you so much for prayers for us all.
My nephew will begin speech/phaysical/occupational therapy on Friday from 8:30-3:30. He'll go 5 days weeek for about 4 weeks. They were supposed to get results today from a neuropsych eval last week. He's still on a soft diet (can't chew for about 4 more weeks) due to his jaw break. Continued prayers would be appreciated. Thank you all so much!
