We just learned that my little brother's girlfriend's mother is very sick in the hospital with pnemonia and a staph infection and other problems....the doctors are saying it is touch and go and are really not sure if she will make it. I am asking for prayers here because my sister told my little brother, "call Erica and tell her to put out a prayer request on her list"!! This brother lives with this girlfriend, so another added prayer would be for their souls and a quick decision to either marry or live apart. Thank you!

Erica, praying for the girlfriend's mother. Praying for the living together situation.

Please also pray for a friend's father, Jim, who is in intensive care too with a staph infection. Doctors say he has a 50/50 chance of surviving.

I just spoke with my brother and Cheryl Maffetore passed away this morning, 7:40 a.m. California time. He said she was fine last week, developed pnemonia and then in the hospital, the staph infection was found. Apparently, she could have had the staph infection before and not have known it.

Anyway, he was very thankful for the prayers and I told him I'd post again. His name is Josh and his girlfriend's name is Laura. I feel so sad for them and my first thought was if they do eventually get married, Laura's mom won't be there.....
