This is minor in comparison to what many of you are going through, but I want to ask for prayers for Emily -- she was violently ill all night long, and is so sad that she can't go to Christmas Eve Mass. We've never had to split up for different Masses for Christmas. I'm praying she's better soon and that no one else gets the bug ....

Praying, Karen. We're also on the brink of making plans for splitting up for Masses due to illness.....I pray that doesn't happen.  We always go early Christmas morning, so I hope a good night's sleep will do the trick!

Praying...I know just how you feel. My daughter's been plagued by a terrible cold for 2 days. We made it to Mass (there's only one; we can't split up!) but she's pretty droopy.
May Emily recover soon, and may all the bad germs flee your house!

Thank you, all, for your prayers! On Saturday, Em was sipping 7-Up and keeping it down. Yesterday she was able to eat a little bit of Christmas dinner, and she told me it was a wonderful day.
I wish you all could see my children's faces when I tell them, "Don't worry, I got the Catholic homeschooling moms praying for you."
