one of my kids was born with a rare  defect....her was rebuilt at 9 days of age.....the valve replaced at 6 years of age.......and is to be replaced approx. every 10 years.
ten years is up.........and it all seemed well, like she would beat the averages and go longer...........but the last few months she has been symptomatic
her appt is tomorrow morning, Friday, 11am PST
could you please pray for her?
we cannot really pray it away........not without a miracle  ........but she has to be brave.......and prayer support always helps, right?
Her pediatric cardiologist has known her since just after her birth...........please pray he does not retire till she is an adult  I like him!
Or her surgeon for that matter!

Anne, I have to admit........I rarely think about it 
she is SO "normal"
Thanks for asking, Angie......and the hindsight prayers.......which in this case are not really hindsight
The MD does not think those symptoms belong to her especially when the echocardiogram showed pretty much NO change since last time.
At this moment....he is thinking we will go at least 1-2 years before the next surgery. And, of course, jennifer......you KNOW I will be back here then for THOSE prayers
The symptoms have eased.....but not all........he thinks it may be hormone related........ever notice how they always say that?
all of the prayers will keep supporting her in her symptoms
