I have been caregiving for at least one sick family member since the day after Thanksgiving. I'm now sick and am asking for your prayers for quick and complete healing as well as stamina...we're getting a bit weary here. John Paul is sick for the first time  .
One bright note...I haven't been able to speak for three days, giving our home a tangible hush not often experienced here  .

Praying for you - I hope you feel better soon. I often say losing my voice is a very blessed thing for my family.   Praying that John Paul is feeling better soon too.

Hope you are all feeling better today, Angie! Most of my kids are sniffling (actually, much worse!) and some have even thrown up this week! Yuk! I said at the breakfast table this morning, a tad desperately....."just try to THINK that you are feeling better, tomorrow is Christmas Eve!!!!"....I don't think that really hepled! And instead of the beautiful Christmas books I thought we would be reading this week, including all of the Tommie De Paola ones, the TV has been on lots!! Another Yuk!
Sorry for rant, this is your post, Angie! Praying for all of our sick kids and hoping we're all better by tomorrow.

Your posts have been so cheering and your prayers powerful. We're out of the high fever stage and resting comfortably. We're all coughing alot, the main symptom now. I'm pretty fatigued but...MY VOICE IS BACK HA HA!
Erica, you crack me up...and you know how I love a good laugh.
Please pray that we can stumble through the next few days and be grateful. I'm embarrassed to say that I'm currently the one most inclined to self-pity around here, sigh....these kids must have some awesome parents to be behaving so well, LOL!

I just recovered my voice a couple of weeks ago. Wow, it's hard to yell without your voice . I'll say a prayer for a healthy Christmas.
