He has run a fever the last 2 nights, so I took him in today. He was not acting himself and seemed to be in pain at times. She checked him over and thinks he is fighting a stomach thing a couple of the other kids had a week and a half ago. She thinks nursing is saving him from the worst of it, he is just having stomach cramps. Poor guy  We took his temp this evening, 102.9 under arm  I have given him tylenol and the anti cramping drops (prescription gas drops basically), but he is not feeling well.
Please pray he gets over this quick.

We spent 2 hours in the dr's office yesterday due to high fever and lethargy. She re-examined him, took blood and urine. She says it is viral. Most likely the stomach virus the older kids had. His bowl sounds were "very noisy and active". You can put your hand on his tummy and feel it churning and bubbling.
Last night he did not run as high a fever. We both slept a bit. He is slowly making his way back it seems this morning; with a noisy tummy still.
Thank God for nursing antibodies! I could not imagine him feeling this bad and adding dehydration to the problem.

Thanks for asking. Definately viral! Friday he broke out in a rash on his face and trunk. When my children have a virus with a high fever, once the fever breaks and they are on the mend, they break out in a rash. He rubs his little head on daddy's whiskers, so it must itch. He is back to his happy little self though. Thanks for all the prayers!
