Yes the penance service is done properly with individual confession. It's nice because any other time we only have 1 priest closer than an hour 15 min drive one way. And we have 3 or 4 priests for the service.
But we weren't planning on going. It takes so long. But then between our schedule and our priest's schedule.. it's looking difficult to get in for confession before Easter otherwise. My oldest will wait and go with her dad next week. But the other 2 and myself will go tonight..
Anyway, I'm just feeling all flustered and flighty trying to figure out what I'm doing 
So just prayers for calm and to help us all get through it well. (good confessions for all too).

whew.. I survived 
I did feel much calmer. I have a hard time switching from mom mode and keeping up with everyone to self reflection and little transition between them.
