I don't know what's wrong. The baby woke up crying, she won't nurse and won't stop crying. She doesn't have a fever, but she seems very uncomfortable. My husband has her right now. Please pray for her!

Wednesday night update
The baby seems to have developed a pretty nasty cold. This came on very suddenly and she's not very happy. I pray that she will be able to sleep well and not be too congested.
Our oldest daughter is also very sick. She's had a fever and an awful headache for 2 days. All the kids just got over a cold 2 weeks ago, so I'm a little frustrated that they're sick again so soon.
Thanks for all your continued prayers. I did make it to Mass tonight and I offered up prayers for the intentions of every on this forum.

Thanks so much, Anne. She finally fell asleep a little while ago, but vomited a few times. Poor little baby. She is very restless/

What a hard night! I hope that it doesn't spread and that she feels better after some good rest.

Ruth, if she runs a slight fever or continues to be miserable with no other symptoms, I would have her checked for a UTI. A couple of my baby girls had an infection and the frantic, asymptomatic crying was my only clue.
Prayers...

It could be her ears. Mine have surprised me with ear infections, but no fever. The upset stomach could also be related to inner ear issues.
Praying.

It's always such a comfort to know that if something happens in the middle of the night, Anne is up and watching on the other side of the world! Anne you are such an amazing and faithful prayer warrior!
How's little Maria doing today, Ruth? I pray she is better and resting easier!

That's exactly what I thought.
Thank you so much for your prayers, my friends. She was very fussy today, but she nursed a lot! It's just after 8 and she's sound asleep in our bed. Hopefully, she will rest tonight.
That was pretty scary last night. At first I thought she was having night terrors, but she cried frantically for 2 hours. It was so tough to see her like that. She ended up vomiting around 4 this morning, but hasn't since, thank goodness. I'll update more tomorrow.

I'm praying Ruth that your little girl is well on the road to recovery.
Thank you for your kind words Jen, it is my great pleasure, for I give back that little for the many times I myself have gone to bed frantic and been greatly comforted by the fact that MANY women were praying for my situation, it is an amazing feeling to have people praying for you and your intentions throughout the night!

I'm sick for the 2nd time in two weeks too, Ruth and will offer up my bone chilling fever, nausea, and headache for you and the kids.

Ruth, strep is really going around (I'm on the other side of F'burg from you, in Culpeper) and often starts with the headache and fever ... I would go have them tested so they can get antibiotics if they need them. I will pray.
