Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I feel like all I do is come here and ask for prayers - first let me thank so much the wonderful women who have kept my mom and son with leukemia in prayer and the children for whom I asked for prayer - Hannah (relapsed leukemia) and Lexie (possible relapse of lymphoma). Lexie turned out not to have a relapse - she is still cancer-free, praise the Lord! Hannah is still very sick and needs a bone marrow donor, as her family is not a match - please keep her in prayer, and pray that the family will find a bone marrow donor match from the national registry - they are begging everyone to join it!

I am here again asking for prayers for my family again - I promise I will repay through my own prayers for the needs of this list all the time and prayer that is being lavished on me - it is a huge comfort - THANK YOU.

Please pray:

1) my mother Elsie was just rushed to the emergency room two hours ago - likely another infection incident to her cancer treatment - so many needs for her physical and spiritual - can you please pray for her healing in body, but also for her to draw closer to God in Christ (she is not Catholic but was raised Methodist - a believer but her faith is shaken through this loss of control in her illness) and for her to be not deceived by the culture of death, feeling that because she is so sick and disabled that her life means nothing and tempting her to despair and give up on her treatment?

2) comfort and peace for my father and grandmother (age 95 - my mother's mother who is in excellent health and clear as a bell mentally, fully aware of how sick my mother is)

3) my son Daniel, 7, who went to the ER last night with a fever of 104 - it is down today to 102 - he is doing well, but we pray for my son in leukemia treatment Jonathan not to get it, as he is immunocompromised and viruses are more dangerous for him

4) my husband John - he had a neck mass we were concerned about last week - not likely cancerous, and his family doc is reassuring, but there are a few other concerning symptoms - unexplained anemia, the lymph node not going away - that they are referring him to GI and ENT specialists for - please pray that he remain in good health - I feel like if I lose him I don't know what I would do. I will be glad for him to have his clean bill of health shortly.

Thanks - lots of anxiety this week but your prayers really help. Hopefully by next week we will all be healthy and stable once again.

Pam

Pam - my goodness! Our Lord has bent down and kissed your entire family with the Cross this Lent!!! How loved you must all be by Him!!! I'm in awe!

I will continue my prayers for you and your family, especially your mom, father, and grandmother, Daniel, and John. God's peace be yours.

Don't ever feel bad about coming to us for prayers. It is such a privilege to share in your Crosses and offer our prayers for the suffering you and your family face! It is such a joy to be a part of the Body of Christ and be able to share our prayers for you!!! Come to us whenever and however often you need our prayers and you will have them!

Oh My goodness Pam, the weight of these crosses our Lord has asked of you and your family. I will certainly remember your family in my prayers each day.
