Three weeks ago, Amy was tested for Marfan's syndrome...it is a genetic test and we are still waiting for results. I am going crazy waiting. My first mistake was that I looked up Marfan's syndrome on WebMd, started reading, but stopped myself after I learned more than I want to know right now. 
She did have a good appointment with a pediatric cardialogist, but he strongly told us he did NOT rule out Marfan's, but that right now her heart looks OK.
A few prayers for my piece of mind would be greatly appreciated right now.
Thanks so much.
Update: Five weeks of waiting, and praise be to God, all the results were negative!! Amy is one healthly, although very bendy, lovely teenager!!

I thought I was going to lose my mind when I was waiting for a CF test result for my newborn a year ago. You have my deepest empathy and prayers...

No test results--they are "pending" from someplace in Boston
Her pediatrician (a very good friend and Catholic homeschooling mom of 5) is still concerned. A few years ago, before there were genetic tests for Marfans syndrome, our ped said she would give her a Marfans diagnosis--which means we have to be very diligent with heart and eye exams, because these are the most serious complications, on top of all the joint problems.
I am so tired of waiting and waiting for these tests. I am ready to crawl in my bed and not come out for a while.  My biggest problem was looking up Marfans syndrome on WebMd--it is not good-if Amy is positive, our dr will start checking out the other kids.
