..that the congestion and nosebleeds may ease and I may have a few hours of sleep. And some peace and calm in my mind and heart. I have had a really bad few nights and am so rundown and exhausted.
I am praying for all your intentions - and especially for all the expecting mamas on the board - many of whom are going through the same thing.

Jen - I know that you are praying - I get the "Alabama vibes"!! thanks my friend - you are helping to keep me going. I feel kind of like the hymn writer in that Sunday school song "it's me it's me, it's me o Lord, standing in the need of prayer" - constantly!!
Anna is lucky to have these wonderful loving "aunties" cheering her mama on to 37 weeks!

Oh Marilyn, I had a nosebleed day the other day...not fun! Know that I carry you in my heart and pray for your little Anna each time I pray for our wee one. Prayers for a restful night and continued health. And for Anna to stay snugly where she belongs for a while more.

Thank you so much Colleen and Jen and everyone. I am still not sleeping - but I am more peaceful - I am managing to get a lot of praying done - I figure that for some reason I am meant to be praying now - and I don't get a lot of time in the day!! And the joys of homeschooling - I can stay in bed a little later in the morning - I feel guilty doing this as school starts later - but I figure for a season this is fine. I just feel a little "out of it" in the day - so we are really down to school basics - Math, language/writing/reading, music and lots of prayer! My older kids are doing a lot on their own - but they seem to be doing fine. And everyone is reading a lot. I know this will improve - just hate walking through the day in a haze.
I so appreciate your prayers - I have my 28wk appt and an ENT (ob wants me to get nosebleeds checked out) this week.

Gosh, Marilyn, I always feel like such a weenie when I complain about a cold/flu -- nosebleeds, ugh! I can't imagine.

I feel almost embarrassed to be coming back and begging your prayers again - I have a horrible virus and head cold and I don't know how to make it throught the night. I cannot breathe at all, have not slept for weeks and feel at the end of my rope. I am keeping hydrated but I am so worried about all of this starting preterm labor. Nothing seems to be helping. I KNOW God is in control, but I just feel like weeping as I feel so horrible. Please pray for a peaceful night and that I may offer up the discomfort graciously and not panic.

Oh no, Marilyn!!!!! I am praying that your night is peaceful dear friend. Just keep your fingers on the rosary and every time you feel the temptation to *imagine* anything beg the help of your guardian angel and start a new Ave! I'll be praying extra hard until I hear that you are feeling better!
