Please pray for a 12 year old girl we once knew who has been extremely sick for quite some time. Sarah used to be a member of our neighborhood homeschooling group when they lived here a few years ago. She was recently diagnosed with POTS.

I received a prayer request for her today that says that she has been hospitalized in an attempt to keep her hydrated and minimize her pain so that she can sleep. She cannot keep any food down and has severe nausea and stomach pain. She has lost most of her strength (can barely crawl) and must be carried or moved in a wheelchair.

My heart goes out to Sarah and her family. They are a wonderful Christian family and are suffering so much. According to the description of POTS, she will get better as she gets older, but things sound very severe right now.

I'm pretty sure that this is the first time prayers have been requested for Sarah here. You may be thinking of another girl for whom I requested prayers a few years back. She was a friend of my sister-in-law in another state, and her symptoms sounded a bit similar to Sarah's.
