Please pray for a good friend of mine, her husband and family. They had their first baby, a little girl, on Saturday and she passed away Sunday morning due to complex heart defects. Although they knew she would be sick when she was born, they didn't anticipate losing her so fast and they are devastated. Please also pray for me as I try to be a supportive friend and have my baby in the next few weeks. I fear my new baby could make it difficult for her to see us. I've never been through a situation like this with a close friend and its very difficult. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

I am praying for this family as they feel such pain during this great loss.

I will pray for you as well, Marie. You are so dear and kind to anticipate that it will likely be a painful reminder of her empty arms when she sees your precious one. I will keep you close in my prayers. I have been on both sides of this fence and it is painful being the friend that must out of charity and sensitivity place distance so that the gift of time can offer healing as well as being the mommy whose arms are feeling so painfully empty.

You are both firmly in my prayers during this time.
