My girlie came down with a fever tonight - 102 degrees. She (and the rest of us) have a HUGE swim meet on Saturday that she would be devastated to miss. She didn't want to come clean that she isn't feeling well because she doesnt' want to miss the meet.  I know she's been exposed to the flu so I'm going to run her to the dr. to be swabbed tomorrow, but I know there are less daunting strains of virus running around town. Please pray it's one of the lesser evils....thanks!

If she has the flu she's awfully perky for a flu sufferer. She's still feverish, so I'm assuming she's not swimming tomorrow, but we'll see if we get a definitive ruling from the doctor. We've made tentative replacements for our volunteer positions. Such is life!
