Would you all please pray for my mother-in-law as she goes in for knee surgery today (Tuesday)? She is about to turn 80 and dh and some of his siblings are worried about her safety (concerns about anesthesia and possible infection) and her recovery. Thank you!

Thanks so much for asking, Jennifer! I meant to come back and update earlier this evening when dh told me he had heard from his siblings. It turns out that she did not have the surgery after all. When they went into the knee, they found that it is infected. So they treated it with some sort of antibiotic cement stuff and closed her back up. She will have an antibiotic IV for awhile and then has to wait at least 3 months after being infection free before going back for surgery. She must be disappointed to have to wait so long.
