I am still coughing and hacking even though it has been over a week and I am not a very patient sick person. I would appreciate prayers for quick healing and for my sanity. Every day that it lingers, it draws on my mental reserves. Thanks!

Praying Charlotte! I have this too. I finally caved yesterday and visited the doctor for antibiotics. I think I'm turning the corner, slowly - I guess mine had deepened into something bacterial.

I feel your pain and I am praying. My chest is so sore with all that ugly hacking coughing. Nights are the worst. I usually don't do prescriptions - but am on antibiotics, robitussin with codeine and an inhaler - because my ob has said that I need to get rid of this to protect my new little one and avoid preterm labor. Let's all pray for each other

Praying for all you hackers! 
Really, my prayers are with you. It is so distressing when it lingers and you are so exhausted.
Make sure you are drinking enough and take some Vit C and Elderberry syrup.

Praying for all you ladies with lingering coughs! I just hate it how the cough always seems to hang on. And I can relate to the sore chest from the coughing, Marilyn. Hope you are all well soon!

I am starting to clear things out but it is going oh so slowly. I did go to the doctor on Wednesday to have her check my lungs for pneumonia and she said everything sounded clear. She wanted me to up my dosage of Mucinex but that made me really nauseous. I have been able to sleep a little more but not completely interrupted. Thanks for the prayers. I know they helped me struggle through my son's birthday yesterday. Today, I am in recuperation mode.
