Thanks for your prayers. While all concern is not resolved, just wanted to say the most recent consultations are allowing us mostly to rest on this subject for a while. Cancer can't be ruled out, but is sufficiently unlikely (and as I said before, would most likely be a quite unaggressive kind) that the latest specialist thinks that rather than go straight to any more invasive procedures, in the absence of symptoms that might suggest otherwise we can wait a few months to see what continued weight loss (which my husband has been doing well with) might do to this "mass."
