I'm in a bad way at present. I cannot hold down anything. I feel terribly weak.
This is one very nasty gastric bug.  Bubby is still wanting her feeds through it all and I'm worrying about dehydration.

I'm praying Anne!!! Try to just lie down with Annuncia and work on little sips of water or some type of gatorade. Just a tiny sip at a time. Ice chips sometimes stay down well (when I feel gross I can't stand a sugary taste in my mouth and ice chips help). A clear carbonated drink settles the tummy if you don't mind the sugar and truthfully, the sugar would probably be a bit of a help for you right now.
Praying that this moves on quickly and that you are able to find small snatches of rest today.

Dear Anne - I have been praying for all your children and I was so hoping that you would not get it. Prayers and hugs coming your way - if you can just try and keep hydrated. Any chance you could get some peaches in thick sugar syrup - the syrup is said to work wonders.

Thankyou for all those prayers and advice, I feel much better this morning after a hard night. I hope I'll stabilize as the day continues, my legs are achy, probably the loss of electrolytes.
