Hopefully it's a "normal" reason he's been vomiting tonight. I'm not sure he doesn't have some signs of respiratory illness as well. Just concerned about what's going on with his health now, and this could also mean more urgent care/ER time for members of our family (husband has been there about 6 hours now, they're doing tests) because it's about to be Christmas Eve/Christmas so the regular pediatricians probably won't be in. We have a 4-month-old also and I don't know how she'd do with this sort of illness.

Oh, and the sick 4yo seems to be autistic or something similar, so that affects how he deals with stuff.

Hi ladies, thanks for prayers, it was a long week. Everyone except the baby was clearly affected by this bug. She might have had the tiniest of cold symptoms; I am so thankful she seems basically to have been spared.

Not sure if as of tonight our 4yo is still sick (maybe now with a secondary bacterial infection?) or getting sick again. He had seemed mostly better, the vomiting was over early on the next day, and the respiratory symptoms that followed weren't even like a particularly bad cold. This poor kid seems to be the most physically fragile family member in some ways, with proneness to secondary and/or ear infections, allergies, sensitive skin.
