My dad was diagnosed with lymphoma over 10 years ago, beat it (as much as one can), and lives with it now by having treatments each week for one month followed by three months off in a never ending cycle of "maintenance". He found a huge lump, size of a walnut, over the weekend, and will be examined by the doc when he goes for his treatment today. Please pray that this is just a benign distraction and that we're not dealing with something more serious. Dad is great, but my mom is the one freaking out. Prayers for her would be much appreciated, too. Thanks so much!!
UPDATE 12/17
Thank you so much for your prayers. The doctor is watching it, but is not overly concerned. Dad will finish this round of treatments and go for a new PET scan on January 13th. My parents are both relieved, but of course still praying that it will just go away!
I pray for all of the intentions here, and am so thankful to have prayer warriors here with me! God bless!
