My husband has been working on finishing our basement for a few mnths, doing the framing, electrical and plumbing. The inspector is supposed to come today to do a Rough inspection. Please pray it goes smoothly and that not too many changes have to be done. He's been working so hard and is just worn out.
I'm praying for all your intentions.

Saturday update:
The inspection went very well.  The work my husband did, with the exception of the dryer vent pipe and a few minor plumbing issues, was perfect! Ironically, he had a probelm with the wood stove which was proffesionally installed. I'm so proud of him! Thanks for your prayers. This has been a very long summer for him, but the end is hopefully in sight. Now we wait for the drywall to be installed and thenwe lay the floor down and move on to the kitchenette and bathroom. Fun!

Ruth,
He will probably have a few things that the guy complains about and makes him re-do, so don't become dis-heartended if that happens. They are VERY picky in this county, and it is very normal to have a few things to change etc.
Obviously, I logged in again!! Sorry my computer is so slow and honnery like an old mule!!!

Praying, Ruth. I know your dh works hard and it can be very tiresome when inspections are involved (it is as if they feel compelled to find soemthing wrong - job security, perhaps .)
I'm listening to the pitter patter of roofers feet (and their very big hammers) on my roof as I type. I'd rather be napping  .
