I feel a bit anxious, my husband resigned from his job yesterday and is now looking for work again, it would seem that funeral work was not for him long term and is now looking for something totally different.
Please pray that he will discern this carefully and that the right job will be found very soon.

UPDATE:
Thank you all tremendously..I have been praying the flying novena to the Infant of Prague and I know I am being lifted by all your prayers and that we will be blessed with new prospects and a job in God's time, through your intercession.
We believe strongly that Phil needs to get back into a field he had been in 20 years ago, caring for the elderly and disabled - we are looking there at all our options which include full time work or maybe study and part time work..
Thank you once again for all the prayers so far!
2nd UPDATE: I am asking for prayers right at present as my husband is about to go directly across the road to a nursing home to ask for work as we saw on their website they are looking for workers, this would be a great way to get work immediately and also study for his certificate part time!
3rd UPDATE: My husband is going for an interview this morning (in half an hour's time) across the road, praying for God's Will!
FINAL UPDATE: My dh now has work, he starts tomorrow - straight across the road from us - really, the front gates to this nursing home is right near our bedroom window, I hear them lock the gates late at night and unlock them 5am the next morning, it is that close! It is permanent part-time which will allow dh to study in the early New Year for particular nursing qualifications. Since we don't have a second car at present, this is wonderful!
Thank you most sincerly for those prayers, we will be making a pilgrimage to Marian Valley for the feast of the Immaculate Conception and will have a Mass offered in thanksgiving asking God to bless those who have so kindly prayed for us!
I will also remember all those on the board and in this prayer thread who are still in need of prayers answered in regard to work and finances.
