Please pray for the sweet parents of a friend of mine, John and Stephanie. John has melanoma, the aggressive kind (if that makes sense). During his treatment, he suffered a stroke. They found several small tumors in his brain. Due to various issues, he hasn't been able to start treatment right away and has basically lost a month on this. My friend says he can't sleep at all and just sits up and thinks. He is very sad.

His wife Stephanie is trying so hard but during her dh's initial melanoma treatment, she had major back surgery. She needs more followup and such, but can't do it right now due to John's current situation. She too is in a LOT of pain physically and obviously frightened for her husband.

Please pray for this couple and that they find peace in God's will for them. And if you could throw in a prayer for my friend too, she is sad as her parents are many many 100s of miles away and can only do but so much for them (fortunately one of her sisters is much closer and helps out more)
