Please say a prayer for my little Michael - he ate a piece of pineapple this afternoon and had a horrible allergic reaction - he cried for hours because his tongue was so sore and has refused to eat or drink. I did give him Benadryl and watch very carefully all afternoon - there is no tongue or throat swelling, but I so want him to eat and drink. I am just kicking myself that I let him have pineapple as he is only 16 months old and one of my other children has pineapple allergy.

Oh my goodness!!!! I didn't hear about this in our phone conversation!!! Poor baby, we have been down that road so many times..don't beat yourself up over it, the recommendations on when to feed babies possibly offending food is changing as fast as our socks!! (for some of my boys, that would be less often than optimal) Hope my future son-in-law is doing okay!!!

Thank you so much for your prayers. Michael had a rough night on Saturday but by lunch on Sunday he was completely fine and eating and drinking as usual. I so appreciate all your thoughtfulness and prayers.

4ladsmum - he was so well when you called - I did not want to "waste" any of our premium and too short phone time!!!!
