Would you please keep me in your prayers? I am having a little trouble adjusting to my new family size. The weight change alone since delivery has been significant and has me feeling really challenged, I am physically and emotionally stretched thin and tired. It doesn't help that little Peter James is a strong and perpetual nurser and I can barely move out of my nursing chair.
I think I need to be more patient with myself and others.

Please just sit down in that chair and nurse and cuddle that baby and don't think of anything else! I know just what you are saying and it will get better, just with time.Give yourself and your family time to adjust and just "be".

I definitely agree with this advice... What I wouldn't give to be able to sit and nurse a baby for 3 or 4 months-- just try to relax and enjoy this time...I know that it is hard to do though...
My prayers will be with you!

I think I could have wrote your post 11 months ago after my baby was born. I definitely felt challenged. You are in my prayers. Just try to enjoy this newborn stage. It goes so fast! You are in our prayers.
