Please would you say some prayers for me - I have come down with a very painful ear infection, high temperature - and together with the pregnancy nausea, I just feel so ill. Please pray that this will pass if possible with antibiotics - I am so trying to avoid first trimester medication (and am already on allergy medication I have to take to be able to breathe) I also have my in-laws in town, my husband's work black tie dinner coming up and it all seems too much. Please pray too for the safety of our new little one - I am so on edge until I get to 12 weeks.

Thank you all so much. I had a rough weekend - but could really feel the prayers working. I am so grateful to all of you - and to those who have not posted here but called or emailed - especially my friend who prayed me through the night Saturday. I still have some ear pain but I have decided not to go to the doctor or take antibiotics as I really feel I am on the mend. Please keep praying that I will be able to make the black tie dinner on Wednesday - try to look glamorous (ok I will settle for just looking ok!!) - and try to give a positive view of Catholics and Homeschooling (most of my husbands colleagues will want to know about both) - and keep the nausea in check - because being a "vomiting Veronica" is certainly not glamorous
