She's so sweet...and she's 94, in the hospital with newly discovered blood clots in both lungs and a bad cold as well. Of course there is a big risk of pneumonia; she can't move around much until the clots can be dealt with, but if she sits in bed she will likely get pneumonia.

Please pray for her, and for my m-i-l, who's sitting in California trying to determine when she should get on a plane.

Update...Grandma's still in the hospital...apparently there is another clot in her leg, but my husband's aunt (the daughter who takes care of Grandma) can't even get the doctor on the telephone to discuss Grandma's condition and care. Please pray that she can talk to the doctor very, very soon.

Grandma's out of the hospital and in her senior residence's full care unit until ??? (Still no doctor info...grrr.) She's very cheerful, though, and happy to have a roommate for a while. Prior to this she was in an independent apartment and I think she's been very lonely.

Thanks for your prayers!!!!

Please pray that we do find out from a doctor what her situation and prognosis are...but this is so much better than I expected at this stage, I'm just so happy!
