I need prayers - I have probably should not have waited so long to ask for them. It's nothing earth shattering but everything here is a mess - the house, our homeschooling, everyone's snipping at each...I just feel awful about the state of things right now - I just don't even know where to begin to sort it all out.
And then this morning the toilet overflowed.
Dh and I are both supposed to be busy this afternoon (he does a boys group and I'm doing cornhusk dolls with our girls group) and then after work tomorrow he was supposed to take boys on an overnight fishing trip. The girls and I are supposed to participate in a historic village this Sat. Sun is our Church talent show - I am supposed to serve refreshments and dd is performing. Dh is supposed to take the boys to a birthday party. I don't know how the toilet situation will effect all these plans.
Sorry this was so long and whiny....
Donna

There is nothing like plumbing problems to ruin even the best of days.
You and your family are in my prayers. Maybe a day off to run in the park or something fun is just what your family needs right now.
((hugs))

I'm sorry, Donna. I'm praying for you. Things stack up and stack up until finally the straw breaks the camel's back. Take a breath and remember that His strength is made perfect in weakness (yikes- I think I wrote that more for my sake than yours! Things have been hairy around here, as well). I'm sending you and prayers.

Oh, Donna! I'm so sorry that things are overwhelming (and overflowing). Praying that life settles down and that you are able to take one thing at a time and get through this craziness.
Peace,
Nancy

Ewwww. I think these things happen to all of us at one time or another. It's a Calgon moment - or month, or year...
Today is the feast of the Guardian Angels - don't forget to ask yours for some help - and your husband's one to help hims, and for your kids' ones to help them, too.
I clicked on the request because "Wit's End" is what I call our house.
Praying for you dear, and sending a big (((HUG))).
Blessings,

Praying you've recovered a gentle harmony...or at least have a functioning toilet, Donna! I know when life gets overwhelming, I just feel like I have to grit my teeth and get through the immediate issues in order to have some quiet to settle things out a bit and try to think and pray about addressing challenges...praying you're to those quiet, contemplative moments!
