I've been praying that I would find a way to help my family financially while still remaining my children's primary caretaker.   Some things have been almost falling in my lap (not really, I've been working hard to make them happen, but things have been happening) but with the economy DH is making fewer and fewer sales so my efforts need to increase.

I have a meeting on Monday to return to training. I worked with the owner years ago before I had kids. It seems that I have a very good chance of being offered a contract position.

Could you please pray that it will work out that I can work on Mondays and Wednesdays? And that the daily rate for 2 days is enough to make up the difference that I'm seeking? DH has Mondays off and the boys attend an enrichment program all day on Wednesdays, so I would only need to find care for Lydia on Wednesdays.

I really don't know what the company needs, but it would lift a burden if it needs what I can offer.

Thank you for all your prayers! The meeting went very well and I'll be starting as a contract trainer in a couple weeks.

They're fine with my availability, as long as I"m okay with the fact that I may not always have classes to teach on those days. Thankfully, I have a pretty broad knowledge base so it should work out pretty well.

I'm waiting for the contract to determine how much I'll be able to earn, but with my plan of Mondays & Wednesdays I can earn on the low end and still be helpful to my family.

Now, to find care for Lydia, which I don't think should be hard (let's hope I'm right!)
