She is 35 and we kinda sorta never thought she'd really want to be a mom. I'm happy to report that she is overjoyed! Her husband and all the grandparents-to-be are thrilled, too. She's 8 weeks along. I know she'll need lots of prayers - she's probably got the dreaded "Older Mother" sticker on her medical record, ugh - but I'm so thankful that we'll finally have baby cousins on my dad's side of the family!
