This is a really trivial prayer request and I feel silly putting this here -- but it's our dd's graduation party this Saturday, and weather.com is predicting thunderstorms. We had planned for everything to be outside and it will just be so much less stress for dh and me not to have to worry about keeping little ones occupied inside the house, not to mention the teens... the adults will be chatting away, we're sure, but we don't have any video games or even a TV on the main floor to keep people entertained... plus dh won't have to worry about moving the grills to the garage, we were planning to grill pizza and if we end up using the oven our smoke alarms ALWAYS go off...
Sorry, this is so *nothing* compared to other concerns here, but...

Praying, Stef. We're in a similar boat. Ike is due to hit Saturday, and we've got 3 recitals -- one of them to play Vivaldi's 4 Seasons in a big formal orchestra concert. :-/

Praying, Stef. We're expected to get the rain and wind from Ike on Saturday. My brother is getting married in an outdoor wedding that day!
