I'm on a non-Catholic board.. and I got "caught" in explaining the Catholic Church's position on ectopic pregnancy.. encompassing all the stuff with double effect and abortion..

The conversation is going well (I searched here and found a link to a great article explaining it).. but some prayer that I can be clear and sensitive to those that might have made decisions that would be shown in a negative light.

I don't know if it'll continue at this point.. and I should have asked for prayer sooner .. but I figured better late than never.

Thank you ladies.. I think it went rather well. I've backed out of the conversation now. It started with someone reading an article that claimed their position was the same as the Catholic Church.. but they said it with less charity in describing the position than the Church uses. So I was asked (I've made myself available to try and answer questions, I'm one of only 3 Catholics there) if that was the Church's position. And I think I was able to explain it (with a lot of help from that article) in a way that was much less offensive to the person who asked than how she read the original article.
