This has been a long haul and I finally have an update. When last I wrote, we were ready to transfer to a new agency. That didn't work in a big way. We found out, too late, that the first agency had placed false information about us in our file, and yes, much of this was based on the worker's anti-faith and family stance. After a horrific experience with agency 2, trying to defend ourselves against these false accusations, we needed to go back to agency 1 and demand that they clean up our file before we sent it onto agency 3. It took forever and a ton of work on my dh's part, but they finally took out all the "subjective" information in our file and left just the "objective" information, imagine that  . So now, prayer warriors, will you *please* pray that this transfer goes smoothly?

Angie, that is simply awful! How terrible is all that? I am glad to hear that they have rectifed this on your demand, certainly praying for smooth sailing..there must be great graces for someone out of all this (God willing an adopted child to your home) because it has been a road full of crosses...

Angie,
Prayers for sure! Today has been one year since we traveled to Guatemala to bring home our dd. I can't believe how quickly all the angst, disappointment and frustration melts away when you see and hold your child. Adoption brings its labor pains! 
Keep us updated! John Paul was my first "forum baby"! I can't believe he is already 3!!!

Thank you all *SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO* much! Without prayer from loved ones, I would be done for. We're still waiting for a return call from agency 3, plus dh won't be easy to reach by phone for this next week...Oh how I wish I was more patient! I'll update again when I know something...which may be awhile...which means I'm begging for your prayers, especially when I'm not posting an update .
