This is a small matter compared to other prayer requests on this board, but I am asking for some prayers just the same.
We came home today to find our beloved dog Buddy unable to walk on his front leg. We think he got kicked by a moose. I don't know if his leg is broken or if it is just soft tissue damage, but he is in a lot of pain and we cannot find a vet to see him until thursday.
If you could, please pray that the injury tuns out to be minor, and that we can find appropriate care for him in a timely way. The kids are so worried about him. Please pray for their peace of mind as well.

Praying Theresa...can you feel if anything is obviously broken? If you can't feel anything out of place, I'd rub comfrey cream into the area until you can get him to the vet....we have had great results with our Pharaoh Hound years ago and comfrey heals bone and flesh.

Oh Theresa, Thursday? Such a long time. I will be praying for your dog Buddy (we have a Buddy too!). Perhaps if you continue to call they can fit you in. You know, like the widow woman in the Word of God who pestered the priest until he finally responded to her. Or the neighbor spoken of in Proverbs who got his neighbor out of bed because of his continual pestering

Just wanted to thank you ladies! The prayers worked! Buddy is recovering well (without the aid of any veterinarian) and is able to put some weight on the leg now. Must have just been a bad sprain/bruise.
Maybe he will learn not to chase moose!
