If you are reading tonight, will you please say a little prayer for us tonight?
We have been having robberies in our neighborhood, and earlier a car shut off it's lights and parked at the end of our cul-de-sac (no houses next to us). I did call the neighbor and he tried to get a description, but could not. Another neighbor in the watch loop called and offered her husband to check our yard (dh is out of town and we back up to the woods)which I was grateful for. In the stress of the moment I forgot to shut off the alarm  and it went off when I opened the door for him to come in, scaring the kids and generally adding to the stress.
I doubt that I will sleep much tonight. After praying for St. Joseph's protection, I don't know what to do--I am so fearful--so I came here to you powerful pray-ers. Thanks you, and I'll be offering up my long night for you all.

Praying for your protection and peace, Liz! I find that praying the St. Michael prayer helps a lot when I am fearful. I'll pray you can sleep too.

I thank you all soooo much. I was able to sleep for a few hours, and the night was uneventful. In the light of day, the whole situation seems more managable.
I know that your prayers were what gave me the ability to stay (somewhat) calm and again, I thank you.

Glad all was well! Situations like that make my glad I have a dog that loves to bark.
