We went to the doctor today for my 5yo, Olivia because she had a 102.5 fever last night and said her throat hurt (all that is fine, just a virus). However, this morning she also told me that her armpits hurts, they're achy and tender to the touch. The doctor wants us to come back in 3 weeks for a recheck of her lymph nodes under her arms. Apparently this could be a sign of something far worse than strep throat. Since this is a doctor whom I prize for her down-to-earth nature, I am a little freaked out that she is concerned about this. She delivered Olivia and has been her doctor ever since and knows her very, very well. Please pray that nothing further will come of this and if it does, that our doctor will be right on top of it. Thanks so much!

Olivia is feeling much better in the last couple of days. She is standing right next to me rolling her eyes as I ask her for the 100th time if her armpits hurt. She says, "No Mama, I already told you!" We'll still be going back for the checkup, though. Just to be sure! Thanks for the prayers!
