I have a nasty head cold. My eyes are at about half mast. I can't breathe through my nose and feel pressure on my ears. I'm strongly sneezing (pulled a muscle in my side last night) sneezing and weakly coughing now and again and my throat is sore (mainly, I think, due to the fact that I can only breathe through my mouth ... though I'm drinking water like crazy, I'm always dry).
And I'm DUE IN A WEEK! This baby is pressing on a nerve in my inner thigh that I never knew existed before her. It feels like she's grinding her way into my pelvis. And I'm having more Braxton-Hicks today than I've ever had in one day in this pregnancy.
Meanwhile, my kids are on the upswing from this cold and so have energy to spare. Oh ... that I had that energy now! 
I wanted to get so much accomplished before I had this baby and life just keeps getting in the way in one way or another.  At this point, I don't care about getting more done though. I just hope I have enough energy to push her out!

Tina, I had a horrendous cold with youngest dd's last days in the womb. I was miserable and remember calling in the morning I was in labor (an greatly in denial) asking what meds I could take. I just wanted to get OVER the darn illness before labor, kwim?? anyway, against midwife advice I took sudafed, felt much better, and Maria was my easiest and quickest labor.
best news- the cold was mysteriously GONE after delivery.
Praying for you to get some relief, one way or the other!!

Though I'm stuffy and my voice sounds frog-like, I *think* I'm recovering from the fog today. My head doesn't have the amount of pressure it had on it yesterday. That was a big downer. I had tons of sleep last night. That helped immensely.
Bless him, my husband brought home enough Chinese food last night for at least two nights. So dinner's in the frig! Life is getting better.
