I am going to see a "natural practitioner" this afternoon - the allergies are not abating and the regular doctors cannot figure out what is causing them. I just want to be able to play outside with the kids without breaking out into a rash, eyes swelling etc. I am feeling very anxious - about seeing a new person and the cost etc. Please pray that all will go well and that I will be peaceful.

I cannot imagine what you have been going through, Marilyn. My eyes swell and are itching for about a month in the summer and it takes all I have to keep sane. You have been dealing with this for so long! I am truly praying hard that you find someone who can help you so you can have peace again.

Thank you so much everyone. He was absolutely awesome - the difference between the holistic and regular medical approach is incredible. I was unable to have the full panel of testing as he thought I was too exhausted and burnt out - but he did make me relax with a heat lamp, dark room, ocean music and some acupuncture. He took a one hour medical history, and being a practicing and faithful Catholic his whole approach was acceptable. He gave me some Chinese herbs (safe when nursing ones) which he thinks will help calm down the inflammation. Also - he refused to charge me for today. God always provides in such incredible ways. I am going back on Saturday and I am feeling so peaceful about it.

Thanks all again - I had the allergy testing today - and I have so many allergies - the big surprise was all the Vitamin allergies - and of course I was taking big doses of Vitamin C and B complex to try and feel better  Please keep praying - I have (to name a few) - egg, chicken, turkey, tree nuts, coffee, alcohol, olive oil, vitamins including C, B complex,iron, E, minerals, honey, cheese, plastics, formaldehyde,dust, mold, pollens, fluoride etc  The positive side is no dairy or tea allergies - hooray!
Today he worked on the egg and chicken - I am doing the allergy elimination treatment - it was very painful but by Monday morning I should be free to eat these.
I feel full of hope - especially because if this works for me, I am going to somewhow find the funds to take my daughter who has some bad food allergies.

Oh, Marilyn - I don't know whether to feel daunted at the laundry list of allergens, or relieved that you might finally have found some answers!
I am happy that you're working towards some solutions though! And I'm continuing to pray for you that some good will come of this testing, that you will experience relief, and that God will provide all of the practicals so that you can continue with this treatment.
Tipping my tea-cup in your direction this afternoon!
