Ladies,
I really need to beg your prayers for my sister and her husband, Thom. He had been wheezing lately so my sister (a dr.) had him examined yest before a trip to Colorado next week. The chest x-ray and CT found multiple large masses in every lobe of his lungs and many (10+) small spots. They are doing a biopsy today to find out more, but it is most probably cancer. They have a 3 yold little girl and a 5 yold little boy. She is devastated. As a doctor herself she knows all the difficulties and realities this represents. Could you offer up some prayers for them today? Thanks.

Thank you for all your prayers. We still don't know anything else. They did a biopsy yesterday, but the sample was very 'hard' and they have scheduled him for a full body PET scan for this Friday. They hope to find the 'source' tumor if in fact it is cancer that has metastisized from the brain or bone etc. They also want to identify one of the many masses to use as second biopsy location. My sister is a doctor herself so she has seen all the x-rays etc. Sometimes ignorance is bliss - unfortunately she knows too much. It is such a shock as he is only 47. We are praying for comfort, guidance and peace - and of course healing or that it is just some strange infection and not cancer.
