Please pray for my 9yo dd, Rachel. I took her to the doctor today for a lingering cough and fever, and he immediately sent us for a chest x-ray and blood work. He called this evening to tell me that she has pneumonia and to have me pick up a prescription for antibiotics. He will see her again on Wednesday to check her progress. I have a very hard time sleeping at night when one of my children is sick, and even more so when my dh is out of town as he is now. Prayers for peace and healing for Rachel would be most appreciated.

Lisa, I understand how you feel, our Reesie (3yo) is finishing her round of antibioics now for pneumonia. I was really suprised and felt helpless esp at night listening to the coughing. Prayers for Rachel today.

Lisa, I can relate to your natural concern and worry, my 8year old daughter had double pneumonia last winter, it is always a serious worry - praying for quick healing and recovery!

Praying. We've been there too, our 5th child developed it when he was 6mo. He perked up quite quickly when he got the antibiotics... It was a actually a big relief, as I had been so worried when he was so sick for several long days and nights.
