I asked for prayers for Amy-14 a few weeks ago when she underwent tests for diabetes-she ended up testing severly hypoglycemic.
Well, she has been having heart symtoms now. Racing heatbeat-skipping and things like that. Tomorrow she has an ekg and then will wear a halter heart moniter for a couple of days.

We are all nervous-so if you could pray for Amy's health and everyone's anxiety I would greatly appreciate it.

These two medical issues sound like my 17 year-old son. He is such a pin-cushion from all of the blood draws, and has had an ekg, too. I'll pray!

Joanne, my memory is really bad at present..did Amy have a very bad reaction to that glucose test? The reason I ask is I think I mentioned my own experience years ago and how my blood sugar levels plummented to .7 I should have been in a coma.. But for weeks and weeks after that test I had troubles with my heart and head, it was simply awful.

Then years later I came by a really comprehensive book on hypoglycemia and it said there that if you had a glucose test (the big one) and reacted badly to it, it could affect your heart and brain and I remembered then, my whole experience. It could be something caused (temporarily) by the test.

Praying, Joann. I went through heart issues at that age too. I wonder if she's taking in enough magnesium? (You can have hypoglycemic reactions and heart flutters/etc without enough magnesium. That tends to be a problem for me in addition to a minor valve problem.)
