Hi ladies.
Could you all spare a prayer for me? I pulled a muscle in my back a few hours ago picking up a calculator off the floor with my 10 month old in my arms. I am having trouble just getting around. I have on a girdle-type support thing I wear (since I have had back trouble in the past) and my husband's home depot type back brace he uses while working around the yard, and STILL I am hobbling around. The thing that is saddest to me, besides the state the house will be in while I am "healing", is that I might not be able to make it to the conference tomorrow since I have to take the baby and I can barely walk. (i.e. I can't lift her in and out of carseat, stroller or if she just wants to be carried etc.) I really look forward to going ALL year and get SO excited for that one day there. I am going up with two friends and have really been looking forward to this. PLEASE pray that is straightens itself out in quick time or I will be so disappointed. Great timing, huh? Plus, it really hurts!

I had to just share a quick something to make you laugh. I was just taking a glass of peas into the kitchen since one of the twins had left it in the computer room on a chair. (Yes, I know that is odd. Big sister decided to open a can of cold peas for a snack??? ) Anyway, on the way back into this room to check to see if the message posted, (dial-up, gotta love it) I noticed a small crucifix on the floor! I bent over to pick it up since that can't stay there no matter how my back might be feeling and then I had to laugh since it was such a TINY cross that I had just "taken up". I kissed it and said, "O.K Lord, I will try to carry my TINY cross." Ironic timing, huh? Anyway, just humerous, but please still pray please.

Thanks to everyone who offered prayers for me with my back. I wore a back support belt to the conference and made out just fine with my two boys there to help cart around Gabrielle. It feels SO much better and I really appreciate all the prayers on my behalf. I am sure I saw some of you all there but just didn't know who you were! Next year, we all need to wear a special ribbon or something like that.
