Jimmy is really not in a good place right now. We went away on holiday (all of us, inclu dog to self-catering accom, where we did all we could to help make it normal) and he and the baby both totally freaked and couldn't cope. He spent all day yesterday screaming to see his birthparents (he doesn't have any conscious memories) and is still insisting today that he be taken to see them. At lunch he said he wouldn't eat his french toast and didn't care what we said, so because he has been very oppositional lately we chose that hill to die on and said he had to sit there until he ate it (usually we don't enforce eating - it was teh attitude we were trying to root out more than the food issue) - he's been down there shouting he doesn't care and spitting, and now he is outside in the garden. I've left it a while to see of he would make teh good choice to come in on his own, but no, so I'll post this and go grab him.
Please pray for him to find some peace in his little heart and for us to know better how to manage him. Espec with the bparent issue. He can be an absolute angel sometimes, and then just go off on one for hours.

I will certainly pray.
Our children have been very awkward about holidays at times, btw. Our eldest memorably refused to eat, sleep or poo during one fortnight's holiday...
