Not 70th birthday, but her 70th anniversary as a nun! My dh's aunt will be having her anniversary party and Mass this weekend.
Please also pray for the other nun who was supposed to have her 70th anniversary Mass on the same day, but is too ill.

Oh, prayers of thanksgiving here for their years of service. What a tremendous celebration - that is incredible longevity. How old is Aunt Sr. Gertrude?

I think she's 86 or so, dh says she entered the convent at 16.
