I asked for prayers about a month ago, I think, for some upcoming job interviews for dh. He didn't get either of the jobs. They were both sort of technicalities--not very personal reasons--but its sort of crushing for him. Our lease is up in exactly one month and we have to move because our landlord is selling our condo. Today I started packing and it is really scary and kind of depressing to pack up stuff not knowing where it will be unpacked. We're taking our postponed trip to the Midwest for most of July and after that we have no idea where we will go. Our stuff will be in storage and even the best-case scenario move will be very expensive. We are just about out of money and we're timing our vacation to save a month's rent (which is a lot in DC).

Needless to say we are very stressed out. Any prayers you could send our way for peace would be appreciated. And dh landing a job prior to us moving out of our current apartment wouldn't be too bad, either.

UPDATE: My husband accepted a job today! He was hoping for a job teaching theology but, instead, he will be doing writing/researching for Loome Theological Booksellers which is outside the Twin Cities. Dh is from Minnesota and we have many, many family and friends who are very excited to have us moving there. We were going to Minnesota for our vacation at the end of this month anyway, so now we can just stay there. We are immensely relieved. The Lord has really provided an excellent "backup" job for my husband and in just the nick of time. Thanks so much for your prayers.

Oh Susan, this does sound so stressful.   Asking St. Joseph to intercede for your husband so that he has discernment and peace in providing for his family. I bet you are able to contemplate the Holy Family's Flight into Egypt very well. Sending many prayers, Susan!!
