The court FINALLY served her husband with the papers, and the dates were wrong (they said the court date was yesterday!). My s-i-l is so stressed out about this mess. She really needs prayer, and I do, too, as she's calling me very late at night to talk about it all.

Oh, Nancy.  I just saw this.
I'm pretty sure that I know EXACTLY what she is going through.
She (and you and everyone else involved) is constantly in my prayers, and that will continue. I wish she were closer so I could just hug her.

Today my S-I-L needs prayer because she is very worried that her soon-to-be ex is en route to her place. She is very capable of worrying herself into panic attacks, and I hope she is OK. Since divorce papers were served, he can't take their girls out of the county, but there's a lot of worry going on.
The papers turned out to be OK; the pages that explained that the court date had been continued were at the end, and no one managed to read that far before freaking out.
I so appreciate your prayers...it's pretty much all I can do for my beleaguered extended family. Every time I try to be emotional support via phone I end up getting sick. Thank you so much.

Update 5/27 - things are calmer, and I thank you for your prayers. We still have almost a month to go before the divorce hearing, so I anticipate more stress as the date approaches. Your prayers continue to help me stay focused on helping my loved ones AND staying sane...many thanks.
