My future sister in law is going in for surgery tomorrow. She's only 24 and it's such a burden to have this problem. She has degenerative disc disease. She's had two surgeries this year alone (the last one a month ago). My brother has been very devoted and by her side through it all (I'm so proud of the man he has become). This is a last ditch effort and is a very sever measure: they're fusing her spinal cord where she's having problems.

Her surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. Thank you all!

I had a rather large section of my spine fused at 16. Recovery can be stressful (literally) on the rest of the back. I'm sure that's not easy when you have degenerated discs, either. Praying for her recovery and that all went well today!
