The baby and Cecilia are both sick again. The baby has a tummy bug, and a diaper rash because of it. She is so fussy. Cecilia is also sick to her stomach. She's in bed with the chills. The 3 middle kids just got over the second round of illness this weekend. We have lots of fussy children around here today. What is it with these double round of illnesses in so many families?

Yes, Ruth! My doctor has confirmed that many people are suffering from back to back illnesses. This has been one of the worst years for colds and flus which stands to reason that other viruses (stomach bugs and such) would be on the rise as well. I think it is the unusual weather pattern this year but that is just a guess.

Anyway, as we recuperate from our latest round, I will be praying for your little ones!

I hurt my back moving furniture. It's not that bad, but very uncomfortable to sit. The pain is shooting all the way down my legs. I'm bummed because I won't be able to do what I had planned. Baby is sleeping. I'm off to rest.
